Ways of Seeing Video Response

This video talked about paintings and how we see them. It pointed out that you can change the meaning of an image just by switching the focus. In one example he made a religious painting appear to be a landscape painting just by zooming in on a small section of it. Another example of how perspective effects how we see things was the different music. He showed one painting three times and each time he put it to different types of music. This had a surprisingly dramatic effect of how the painting was interpreted. This was a useful video for this project because we had to decide what kind of feeling we wanted to project with our collages and we indeed had to keep in mind perspective and context to do so.  I found it to be very enlightening in regards to this project.
