Photography reading reflection:

I found the Photo OPS reading assignment to be particularly interesting. I have been exposed to quite a bit of photograph through school courses along with personal research. Yet, this article was able to make me think of the photo framing process in a new light. When you get in a pattern in your photography you often forget the importance of subtle framing and the impact it can have on a photos message. Take the building for instance, it was framed with the surrounding element of nature. This not only adds interest to the photo but also provides context clues to the viewer of the buildings location, climate and culture.  This purposeful composition enhances the building’s intriguing architectural aspects, which then become the photos underlining subject. The subtleties utilized by this photographer help develop the story within the photo.
