Written Reflection on “Parts of a Letter”:

I never realized how much thought was put into the creation of a text or the impact it could have on an interpretation of a message. By simply adjusting the stroke width of a “W” you can project a certain feel and connotation to the word it spells out. For example: “Word” “Word.” The text you use can also dictate the assumed time period. It may also show formality.     Typography is an age-old art form that many overlook but no one can deny its power to create a distinct tone and feel.
